ENGINE
-- EIP VR6 Turbo Kit --
This bolt on kit is good for a whopping 378 dyno-proven hp and
419 ft-lbs of torque!
If you want more in-depth info about this kit, go to the
EIP Homepage.(Currently Off-line)
-- Scorpion Cat-back Exhaust with dual DTM exhaust tips --
This is the hottest exhaust in Europe. All of the show-stopping
cars in Britain go with the Scorpion brand exhaust.
Unfortunately, it retails for a mere $610.
-- Nology Hotwires --
These are the best wires around. My friend has recommended
them to me saying that he actually feels a
difference in the acceleration of the car. He has also noted
an increase in his gas economy. However
he owns a Honda CRX and I'm not too sure of how relevent his opinion
is.

SUSPENSION
-- Spax 24-way Adjustable shocks and springs --
Many have said that this is the best kit around. One person
thought that he had a good setup with Neuspeed
springs with Boge Turbogas shocks. Then he drove his brother's
Spax equipped Corrado. He is now saving
up for a Spax kit. This retails for a "mere" $700.

-- AVO Coilovers --
This is the one of the best coilover kits available for VWs.
This setup was used by Sport Compact Car on
their Project Golf GL. They said that it was a vast improvement
over their old setup. Retail:$1200
Sorry, No AVO homepage available.
-- Neuspeed Strut Tower Bars F/R --

OR
-- Autotech Adjustable Bars --
Adjustability means that the bars fit the car. You don't
try to make the car fit the bars. That is the main reason
that one person opted for the Autotech bars as opposed to others.
Retail:F--$125 R--$100

EXTERIOR
-- Dual Round Headlight Conversion --
This is simply a matter of preference. I like the look of
the dual headlights and it would appear that most others
do too, as most of the hottest VWs around have opted for the conversion.
These conversions are offered by a
variety of companies such as Abt or Project Zwo. Retail:$400-$500
-- Abt 5-Spoke Wheels --
These wheels are from the notable VW tuner, Abt. They have
a clean and simple, yet aggressive look. 17" wheels
retail for roughly $600 a piece. Here
is a clear picture of the Abt wheel. These are the wheels that I
would like
most, but there are some other contenders.
Here
is a picture of another wheel that I would really like.
These are the Oettinger 5-spoke 3-piece wheels. These are even
more costly at $1000 apiece.
